Last month Kate Clugston and I saw the film JIMPA, we were still messaging about it the next day, for me it was such an lovely demonstration of queer joy, intergenerational queerness, and solidarity. I realised it was on limited release so found the only cinema near me to take Richard Gould the next day.
Last week Kate Clugston found out there was an opportunity to share this amazing film with more people through a community screening, and if we host it on 13 May we'll also be able to host a live virtual Q&A with actors Olivia Colman, Aud Mason-Hyde, Kate Box and filmmaker Sophie Hyde.
So, we're hosting a fundraiser for the amazing Trans Justice Project LTD. on 13 May 2026, at Digital Storytellers in Darlinghurst. Come join us to support trans rights, and where you too can watch the film I liked so much I saw it twice in one weekend and still talk to people about.
Find out more and purchase tickets here.
Can't make it but still want to support Trans Justice Project LTD. you can here.
Join Hilary Callaghan and Abbey Pantano as they show how to build a community led model that turns members into active contributors and drives sustainable revenue, without compromising trust.
Associations Unleashed with you. It’s a two-day event designed specifically for association professionals. It runs from Tuesday 26 May to Wednesday 27 May 2026 at The Brighton MGallery Sydney. This event is a peer level room focused on honest conversation, practical challenge, and creating space to think properly about how we’re leading our industries forward.
The emphasis is on real discussion and real application. So, if you’re looking for time to step back, pressure test ideas, and leave with actions you can actually implement, this will be worth your time. You can find full details here: https://bit.ly/4kbJIlf
